Library

Covenant Christian School's dedication to academic excellence extends to preparing students to use traditional information tools and current technologies to succeed in an ever changing and fast paced world. Our library has over 5,500 books and an extensive collection of videos/DVDs, audio tapes/CDs and magazines.

The library has an Accelerated Reader program which has been in place for nearly 10 years. The library collection includes materials with close to 3,500 available A.R. tests. Many additional resources are available for our teachers and parents to use to enhance the education of their children.

Library skills classes are given twice a month, along with a weekly check-out time for students who wish to borrow new materials. Our students learn to use, care for and maintain library materials in these classes. Computers are available for use as a card catalog, and for student practice sessions. The experience that students receive at our library prepares them with skills that they can use in any library in the future.

The library is open to students, who are supervised, Monday through Friday during school hours and by appointment in the summer months.
